Chances are that you’ve heard the expression, “I was born ready.”

That expression is so wonderful! When I hear someone say that, it implies a person who loves who they are and is confident and prepared for whatever they choose to do. That level of enthusiasm for who they are and what life offers is overwhelmingly terrific.

Sometimes, we will hear an athlete say, “I was born to play that position,” or an actor say, “I was born for that role.” They are sure of themselves and confident about what they bring to the table.

How about you? Were you born ready? Do you have the same level of enthusiasm, passion, and enjoyment as the person who states (or says) they are “Born Ready?” Some people express their energy and enthusiasm as soon as you encounter them. Others have a more reserved and quiet demeanor, and while the passion and energy are there, it is not shown right away.

Then there are those who live “quiet lives of desperation.” They go through the motions daily with little to no enthusiasm or energy. Which are you? Where do you fall in between “born ready” and “born for who knows why?”
